Terms of Service
Last updated 16 October 2026
The terms for every Avontri project. The written proposal for your project sits alongside them and fills in the details that differ from one project to the next.
Who we are and what we provide
Who we are. These terms are between you and AVONTRI CLIENT START LTD, trading as Avontri ("we"). We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17330733, and our registered office is 61 Bridge Street, Kington, United Kingdom, HR5 3DJ. To reach us, write by post to our registered office, AVONTRI CLIENT START LTD, 61 Bridge Street, Kington, United Kingdom, HR5 3DJ.
What we provide. We prepare client onboarding materials for small service businesses. The services are:
- Client Welcome Guide: a branded guide covering how your project starts, what your client needs to prepare and where to find the agreed next steps.
- Project Intake Form: a focused questionnaire that collects the information your team needs before work begins.
- Client Resource Checklist: a clear checklist of the files, decisions and details a client needs to provide for an agreed project.
- Coordinated Client Start Pack: a welcome guide, an intake questionnaire and a resource checklist designed to work together.
- Existing Pack Refresh: a practical update to welcome documents and questionnaires that have become inconsistent or difficult to use.
What we do not provide. We do not build CRM systems, client portals or software platforms. An online form is set up only where a written proposal names it, in a tool whose capabilities we have checked first. A refresh is a single piece of work, not a subscription or ongoing support.
The samples. The documents on the Samples page show possible formats. They are not products for sale and not work done for a client.
Who these terms are for. Our services are offered to businesses. If you are a consumer, you have statutory rights that these terms do not remove, and where these terms say something different from those rights, the rights apply.
How a project is agreed and paid for
How a project is agreed. You send us an outline. We reply with a written proposal that sets out the scope, the deliverables and their file formats, any form setup, the revision allowance, the schedule, the price and the payment terms. The contract is made when you accept the proposal in writing and we confirm the order in writing. Nothing on this website is an offer that you can accept by itself.
Price and currency. Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). The price in the proposal is the full price, including any taxes that apply, and nothing is added to it afterwards. If you ask for work outside the agreed scope, any change to the price is agreed in writing before that work is done.
Paying. Payment is by invoice; the payment methods and due date are set out in the written proposal. Where a proposal offers card payment, it is made through a secure payment page run by a payment provider, and we never see or store your card details. This website does not take payments.
Delivery. The agreed files are delivered electronically, and any form setup is handed over in your own tool. The details are on the Delivery & Refunds page and in the proposal.
Cancelling and refunds. If you are a consumer, you may cancel within 14 days of the day the contract is made. How cancellation and refunds work is set out on the Delivery & Refunds page.
What each of us is responsible for
What we ask of you. To give us the content, brand assets and information the project needs at the points the schedule sets; to make sure you have the right to let us use what you supply; to review drafts against the agreed brief; and to name one person who can approve the work. If materials arrive later than agreed, the schedule moves with them.
What not to send us. Please do not send passwords, payment details, identity documents or your own clients' personal data through this website. If a form setup needs access to your tool, how that access is given is agreed with you first.
What we promise. We carry out the work with reasonable care and skill and deliver what the proposal describes. If you are a consumer, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 also requires services to be performed with reasonable care and skill, and digital content to be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
Your materials and the result. Content, brand assets and other materials you supply remain yours, and we use them only for your project. Ownership and the licence to use the delivered materials are set out in the written proposal.
Our liability. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited. If you are a business, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect loss, and our total liability arising from a project is limited to the price paid for that project. If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill, and not for loss that was not foreseeable.
Ending, complaints and the law
Ending a project. Either of us may end the contract by writing to the other if the other seriously breaks it and does not put it right within a reasonable time of being asked to. If the contract ends early, you pay for the work properly done up to that point and we deliver what has been completed. If it ends because we seriously broke it, you keep your legal rights, including a price reduction or a refund. Consumers also have the right to cancel described on the Delivery & Refunds page.
Complaints. If something is not right, write to us by post to our registered office, AVONTRI CLIENT START LTD, 61 Bridge Street, Kington, United Kingdom, HR5 3DJ. We acknowledge a complaint once it reaches us, look into it and send a full reply. If that will take longer than you would reasonably expect, we tell you why.
Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. The version in force on the date your order is confirmed applies to that project.
The law that applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in your own part of the UK, and you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law that applies there.
